Cedric Vanderlinden

Cedric Vanderlinden is a professional practicing artist with over 30 years of experience in painting, drawing, and academic instruction. He holds an MTech in Fine Arts and previously lectured at Nelson Mandela University. Working primarily in oil and mixed media, his work has featured in numerous local and international exhibitions, including his solo shows Against the Dying of the Light (Brussels) and Landscapes of Consequence. As a veteran figure in the Eastern Cape art community, Cedric brings a wealth of curatorial and artistic insight to the shop. Since taking over management of Art on Main in 2020, he has focused on building a community that blends the raw materials of creation with professional practice guidance.
